This is the Swansea Rugby Club cap of back-row forward Joseph Ivor Thomas Morris. Known as Glyn to his team mates and Ivor in the press, Ivor was born in Bury Port in 1901. He played for Swansea from 1922 to 1925 making 60 appearances. He was in the Swansea side that played New Zealand in September 1924, The All Blacks gaining a 39-3 win on the way to an 'Invincible' tour. Ivor was capped twice by Wales in 1924, as a Swansea player. A steelworker by trade, Ivor joined the Glamorgan Constabulary later and played for the Glamorgan Police. He later worked as an engineer in Cheltenham and played for their senior team. He also played for Ystalyfera, Loughor, Aberavon, Bury Port, Llanelli, Bynea.
