Info

This rare item is a match day ticket to the rugby international between Wales and New Zealand at St Helen's, Swansea on 29th November 1924. The New Zealanders gained revenge for their 3 - 0 defeat to Wales in Cardiff in 1905, with a dominant display in a 19 -0 win that shocked the Welsh rugby public. In fact the All Blacks went on to achieve an 'Invincible' record on the tour of Britain, Ireland and France. This ticket was made out to Swansea and Wales forward Ivor Morris. Ivor had played in Swansea's fixture with the All Blacks back in September, when the tourists had put on a superb display to defeat their hosts by 39 - 3.
