This dinner menu belonged to Swansea and Wales forward Ivor Morris and was signed by players and officials at the post-match dinner given in honour of the New Zealand rugby team who played and defeated Swansea by 39 - 3 on 27th September 1924 at St Helen's. The New Zealanders were on the early part of an 'Invincible' tour of Britain, Ireland and France. Many of the signatures are identifiable, including All Blacks captain Cliff Porter and Swansea captain J E Watkins. The dinner was given by the Mayor of Swansea and was held at the Hotel Metropol, which was situated in the High Street.
