Swansea town coat of arms at top and recipient's name hand written on printed card. Dimensions: w6" x h4 1/2" (w15.2cm x h11.4cm).

This Dinner Menu invitation card was made to Swansea RFC forward Ivor Morris, to attend a dinner in honour of the New Zealand rugby team on Saturday evening 27th September 1924. The New Zealanders had defeated Swansea by 39 - 3 in the fifth match of their 'Invincible' tour of Britain, Ireland and France. The dinner was by invitation of the Mayor of Swansea and to be held at the Hotel Metropol in High Street, Swansea.
