A match day programme from the Swansea versus Bridgend match at St Helen's on Saturday 13th September 1924. Swansea won the match by 9 points to 6. Elvet Rees and Jack Elwyn Watkins scored tries and full-back Phil Lloyd kicked a penalty for Swansea. Job Davies scored a try for Bridgend which D. Pascoe converted. The match was played in atrocious weather, which spoiled the event as a running game. This programme was kindly made available to scan by Andrew Hague, whose grandfather Graham Roberts was responsible for the artwork on the front cover. Two more examples of this work are available on MP2060 and MP2061 and we are grateful to Andrew for making these rare items available to the St Helen's Archive.
