A description of how the Santa Monica rugby club's tour jersey came to be at the Gowerton Rugby Club in South Wales. The story is related by Thia Markson, historian of the B.A.T.S. rugby team in California, via her contact at the Santa Monica club and sent by Thia to the St Helen's Archive to enhance the story of the jersey, which was kindly loaned for photographing, by Gowerton RFC.
