A match programme from the match between Swansea RFC and the California Golden Poppies representative team on their UK tour of 1975. the USA team. Swansea won the match by 21 - 7, having first gone behind to a powerful Poppies team who brought energetic forward play in their game. they had defeated Ebbw Vale at Eugene Cross Park a few days before, indicating that they were serious tourists. Several members of the Poppies team were from the B.A.T.S. (Bay Area Touring Side) club in California and were one of Swansea's opponents on the Welsh club's 1981 tour to California.
