Jersey, San Francisco Olympic Club. Worn by Willie Moore (forward). Red and white hoops rugby style jersey with white collar. White 'winged O' Olympic club logo sewn on left breast. No Number on reverse. Left Armpit repaired (sewn). Small hole under right armpit. Spotted with reddish brown stains to front and reverse. Red strapping tape on left elbow.

This jersey is a 1960 Olympic Club jersey, worn by future B.A.T.S prop Willie Moore. The Olympic Club were the predecessor to the B.A.T.S and had several notable players, including a number of rugby gold medallists from the 1920 and 1924 Olympics. Before the formation of the B.A.T.S in 1968, the Olympic Club toured Britain and France, where they recorded a successful tour consisting of 7 wins, 2 draws, and 2 losses.
