A mounted and framed cloth extract from a playing jersey, with the Cwmtwrch RFC badge embroidered and "Clwb Rygbi Cwmtwrch" above and "1890-1990" embroidered below. Dimensions: h9" x w6 1/2" (h22.5cm x w16.5cm).

The plaque of the Cwmtwrch Rugby Club (est: 1890). This embroidered patch was taken from a playing jersey of the club's centenary season and presented to Swansea RFC. A match was played on 30 April 1991 at the Glyncynwal Park ground, upper Cwmtwrch between Cwmtwrch and Swansea RFC as part of the centenary celebrations.The result was a 34 - 16 win for Swansea.
