Oak plaque with gold printed flower and "Alberta" engraved above with "Rugby Union" engraved below flower. Brass plaque beneath engraved: "Alberta Rugby Union vs Swansea RFC Aug. 12 1992". Dimensions: w7" x h8 1/2" (w17.5cm x h22cm).

This plaque was presented to Swansea RFC to commemorate their match against the Alberts Rugby Union in Edmonton, Alberta on 12 August 1992. The match was won by Swansea by 40 - 14. Bleddyn Taylor scored two tries with Richard Webster, Stuart Davies (captain), Scott Gibbs and Barry Roberts also scoring tries. Aled Williams kicked two conversions and two penalties. The match was the first of three fixtures on the Canadian tour. Swansea also played a British Columbia President's XV (won 18 - 17) and British Columbia (won 18 - 16).
