This plaque was presented to Swansea RFC on the occasion of their match against a Newport Beach & Irvine Coast Combines XV in Los Angeles on 19th May 1981. Swansea won the match by 66 points to 7. the tour also encompassed matches against the Bay Area Touring side, Old Mission Beach Athletic Club and South California.
