A photograph of the Swansea second fifteen, known at this time as Swansea United. The season is 1935-36 and the image is mounted and titled. It was taken by Jack Thomas Photographer of 12 St Helen's Road, Swansea. The team contained several future and current first fifteen players Rees Davies, Steve Morgan, T Slattery, Leslie Davies and George Taylor, the latter who played for Swansea in their historic win over the All Black this season. Players who would go on to play for the first fifteen were: G V Tossell, W Griff Bevan, E D Price and John Phillips. Swansea United's record this season was: Played: 19, Won: 11, Lost: 6, Drawn: 2. Points for: 128, Against: 86.
