Info

This Swansea jersey was worn by Wales & Lions back-row Colin Charvis in the 1995-96 season. Colin played 169 matches for Swansea between 1995 and 2003, winning the Heineken League with Swansea in 1997-98, the WRU Cup in 1999 and Welsh-Scottish League in 2000-01. A favourite with the Swansea supporters, Colin was first capped by Wales in 1996 and went on to accumulate 57 of his 94 Welsh caps as a Swansea player. A long-time resident in Swansea, Colin still holds strong links to the club and has served on its Board, currently as Swansea RFC’s Vice-Chairman. This jersey was kindly presented to the St Helens Archive by Charvis in February 2024.
