Info

Swansea, Wales and Lions back-row Colin Charvis played twice for the famous Barbarians invitation side. His first appearance was at Lansdowne Road when Ireland emerged 31-30 winners. Colin’s second match for the Baabaas was in a fixture to officially open the Scarlets’ new ground at Parc y Scarlets, when the West Wales side won an exciting match by 40-24. The Barbarians ethic of adventurous running rugby suited Charvis well, his own heads-up style fitting well into the Barbarians’ style of play. This jersey was kindly presented to the St Helens Archive by Colin Charvis in February 2024.
