This photograph was taken by Swansea wing/centre T Aubrey Hill in Barnstaple in September 1928. Swansea played and beat Barnstaple away by 11-15 on 6th September 1928. Recognisable in the image are Swansea RFC Hon. Secretary Bert Palmer, at centre with the short moustache. Also immediately to our left of Palmer, in hat is Swansea forward Watcyn Thomas who was capped 14 times by Wales 91927-33) and captained wales in his last international season.
