Excerpts from the scrapbook of D.J. 'Jack' Bassett, a Swansea 1st XV and 2nd XV (United) wing. The scrapbook describes some of his matches for Swansea, including his 1st XV debut away at Rodney parade against Newport in November 1933. It also has reports of Jack playing for Swansea Uplands RFC and illustrations of Jack in the Christ College Brecon rugby team circa 1930. The segments of the scrapbook were donated to the collection by Jack's son D T (David) Bassett.
