This letter from Mr Martyn Thomas of Cardiff, accompanied a mounted B&W photograph of Swansea's outside-half from the first 'Golden Era', Dick Jones. Jones was a cousin of Martyn Thomas' grandfather Cardiff outside-half H.J. 'Jonnie' Thomas. The image of Dick Jones can be found in the St Helen's Archive (see: PH239).
