This is a collage depiction of the Swansea 1st XV who won the Welsh Championship in 1912-13. The players were all awarded club blazers for the achievement, which they wear in the individual photographs by Henry Chapman of High Street, Swansea. Also present is club Hon. Secretary F.E. Perkins, trainer Bob Dowdle and linesman and former Swansea and Wales forward Will Parker. The players are all named, with captain Billy Trew in a larger image at the centre. The team's record of played 37, won 29, lost 2, drawn 6 is noted at the base of the image. Swansea also defeated the touring Springboks 3-0 on Boxing Day 1912 at St Helen's.
