Tour Brochure for 1982 Swansea tour to Zimbabwe. Swansea were to have played five matches but difficulty getting confirmation of permission to travel (due to two Swansea players having travelled and played in South Africa the previous year) led to delays. The opening fixture v Midland Counties could not be played. The first match then was v Matabeleland in Buloweyo (won 26-19). The first of two matches against the Zimbabwe national side was won 28-6. Mashonaland were beaten 23-22 with a late Roger Blyth penalty and a late try gave Zimbabwe a 31-30 win in the second fixture against the national side, to wrap up the tour.
