This advertisement in the Cambrian newspaper announces that Swansea RFC's 1st XV players will receive "FREE SUITS" to mark their having gone through the season undefeated. By 'suits' the outfitter meant blazers with the Swansea Cricket & Football Club badge on the left breast. Although blazers were worn before this, it is the earliest known reference to them being awarded to members of the SC&FC.
