This is a photograph of the combined Lansdowne RFC and Swansea RFC teams taken to mark the visit of Swansea to Lansdowne Road, Dublin to play the Lansdowne RFC club. Swansea captained by Dai Richards, won a tight game by 28 - 26 with tries coming from Mike Ruddock, Malcolm Dacey, Arthur Emyr and Graham Davies. Mark Wyatt converted all four tries. Both clubs were founded in 1872.
