Match Ticket: Swansea v Australia 4th Nov. 1992, St Helen's ground, Swansea. Pink heavy grade paper. Faded back Swansea C&FC badge centre and WRU badge top left of front. Ticket No 00145, Gate 8: West Terrace.

This is a match ticket stub from the Swansea v Australia match at St Helen's on Wednesday 4th November 1992. The ticket holder would have entered the ground via Gate 8, which faces the recreation Ground just round the corner from the Mumbles Road. They would have stood on the west Terrace behind the goal at the Mumbles End. this is where Scott Gibbs scored the first of Swansea's two tries, so it is likely the ticket holder had an excellent view of Gibbs bursting through the Wallaby defence to dive over. Swansea won the match 21 - 6 and secured their third victory over the Wallabies, this time against the reigning World Champions.
