Stained wood commemorative plaque with caste metal disc. Representation of the WRU Challenge Cup in disc. "Welsh Rugby Union Challenge Cup - Runners Up" around rim. "Swansea RFC April 1980" on metal plate beneath. Dimensions: h10" x 7" (h26cm x w18cm).

Plaque indicating Swansea RFC were Runners up in the WRU Challenge Cup of 1979-1980. They were beaten 9 - 15 in the final at the National Stadium, Cardiff on 26th April 1980 by Bridgend RFC.
