Stained wood commemorative plaque with the WRU badge on a red shield. "Welsh Rugby Union" in black on a gold scroll beneath and a brass plate above is inscripted: "Wales v Tonga Sunday 16th November 1997 St Helen's Swansea". Dimensions: h7" x w6" ( h18cm x w15.25cm).

This plaque was presented to Swansea RFC by the Welsh Rugby Union on the occasion of St Helen's hosting the international match between Wales and Tonga on Sunday November 16th 1997. The match was won 46 - 12 by Wales. Swansea were represented in the Welsh team by Scott Gibbs, Christian Loader and Rob Appleyard.
