Stained wood commemorative plaque with New Zealand 'Fern' motif and "New Zealand Rugby Union" in a metal badge. A metal plaque beneath reads: "Presented to Swansea Rugby Football Club on the occasion of the match Swansea v New Zealand 21 October 1989". Dimensions: h5 1/4" x w4" ( h13.5cm x w10cm).

Plaque of the New Zealand Rugby Union (est: 1892). This specially commissioned one was presented to Swansea RFC on 21st October 1989, when the 'All Blacks' played Swansea at St Helen's. This was the last occasion on which Swansea played New Zealand. The match was won 37 - 22 by the 'All Blacks', who took an early lead and held off a spirited challenge from Swansea in the second-half.
