This New Zealand plaque was presented to Swansea RFC by the touring All Blacks of 1967 when they played West Wales at St Helen's on 8th November 1967, a match which they won 21 - 14. They went on to beat wales 13 - 6 at Cardiff on 11th November. In the West Wales team of 8th November, Swansea RFC were represented by five players: full-back Doug Rees, centre John Davies, scrum-half Clive Rowlands (capt.), hooker Roy Thomas and back row Morrie Evans.
