"Welsh Rugby Union 1881 Undeb Rygbi Cymru" and "Welsh Rugby Union" within a gold banner surround the WRU P.O.W. feathers motif, with "Founder Members" beneath. Produced by Swansea Porcelain Ltd. Abstract
This commemorative plate marks the Centenary of the WRU in 1981. The 11 founder clubs are all represented on the front and the foundation date of 12th march 1881 at the Castle Hotel, Neath is described on the reverse aong with reference to the "Tenby meeting" of March 1880.
