Abstract
A typed letter from David Price, Hon. Secretary of Swansea RFC, to Mrs R Williams of 16 Linden Ave, West Cross, Swansea. The letter acknowledges the gift to the club of rugby memorabilia connected with former Swansea and Wales forward George Hayward. Namely: a presentation cup (5 Wales wins in 1909), Swansea cap (1906-07), Wales cap (1908), Wales Trial cap (1908), large oval framed photograph of George Hayward, hand coloured, 2 news clippings referring to the death of George Hayward, postcard of Wales team v Scotland (1908), postcard of Wigan R L team (1920-21), postcard photo of George Hayward in Wigan R L jersey, photo of George Hayward and friends playing about on Swansea sands (1904) and cigarette card featuring George Hayward.
