Abstract
This photograph of former players of the Swansea Athletic RFC was taken at the Swansea Athletic Reunion Dinner at Swansea RFC in the St Helens Lounge on Friday 16th May 2008. The Dinner marked the 25th Anniversary of the Swansea Athletic side winning both the Glamorgan County Silver Ball (April 1983 against Old Illtidians, Cardiff at the Brewery field, Bridgend) and the Glamorgan County Presidents Cup (Sept 1983 against Llanharan RFC at the Old Parish, Maesteg). Swansea Athletic were also winners of the Brentwood (Essex) Silver Ball Competition in 1975, 1976 & 1977. MC for the Evening was Swansea RFC Hon. Sec. Byron Mugford. Speakers were 1983 Captain Keith Williams Athletic President Geoff Wheel and Guest Speaker Matt Wiliams (Head Coach Ulster Rugby and formerly Swansea Athletic - 1984-85).
