Season Ticket Swansea cricket & Football Club 1921-1922 season. Dark blue cover with gold coloured embossed Club badge. Dimensions: w2 3/4" x h4 1/4" (w7.3cm x h10.2cm). Two 'pockets' inside with cricket club, hockey club and football club fixture booklets within. Excise Revenue stamp (1s 6d) on inside. Owner's signature made on inner left pocket. Also contains purchase receipt and cigarette collectors' card.

This is a season ticket for Swansea Cricket & Football Club for the 1921 -1922 season. It belonged to a Mr J H Saunders, who has signed the inner left hand pocket. There is also a receipt for the season ticket folded into the pocket. This shows he paid one guinea on 15th July 1921 plus eighteen pence in Excise Tax for the ticket. The receipt is signed by W Griffiths, the club Treasurer. Two blue paper covered booklets are stored inside the pockets. One has the cricket club and hockey club fixtures for the season and the other has the first and second fifteen (rugby) football fixtures. The owner has also stored in one pocket a collector's cigarette card from the J & F Bell Company of Glasgow, featuring W J ("Billy") Bancroft with information about the Swansea and Wales footballer's career on the reverse. It was gifted to Swansea RFC as part of a collection of family season tickets by lifelong supporter Ralph Williams.
