Commemorative match jersey worn and presented by David (Dai) Stewart Parker at Twickenham in the Rowland Hill memorial Match on Saturday 5th October 1929. Rowland Hill (1855-1928) was a RFU Committee man from 1879 to 1928 and President from 1904-1907. The new main gates at Twickenham were named after him 1929 and the rugby match there between an England/Wales XV against a Scotland/Ireland XV was in his honour. Scotland/Ireland won the match 20 -13.
