This jersey was worn by Swansea, Wales and Lions wing Rowe Harding in the rugby Centenary match played on The Close at Rugby School on 1st November 1923 as a celebration of the centenary of William Webb Ellis having reportedly picked up the ball to run with it during a school match. There is no number on the back as they were not worn in this match. Rowe Harding was joined by Swansea forward Gwillym Michael in this prestigious match against a combined Scotland/Ireland team. Rowe Harding later presented the jersey to the Swansea club.
