This is a flyer for an evening event organised by the Swansea Supporters' Club. The earliest mention of such an organisation was back in 1914, when a supporters' club was begun. But the Great War prevented any progress. Now with clubs starting up again after 1919, these organisations were more important than ever in helping clubs re-establish their interrupted rapport with the community. In this instance a talk was to be given on the Rugby Centenary match that was held on the Close at Rugby School on 1st November 1923. the celebratory match held special significance for the Swansea club as two of it's playing members appeared in the combined England/Wales team: Rowe Harding and Gwillym Michael.
