This is the Welsh Jersey worn by Swansea scrum-half R. M. Richard Morgan "Dicky" Owen against Scotland at St Helen's, in his last of 35 Welsh caps. He was captain of the Welsh side that day. Wales won by 3 converted tries, 2 drop goals and 2 tries. He and Swansea’s Billy Trew were carried from the field by the crowd at the final whistle.
