Abstract

Cambridge University rugby jersey belonging to Swansea and Wales winger Rowe Harding worn during his time at Cambridge University in the 1920's. Rowe Harding won four Blues with Cambridge University between 1924 and 1927. he was only on the losing side once (1924) and captained the Cambridge team in 1927. He was already a Welsh international and British Isles 'Lion' (1924 - South Africa) on arriving at Cambridge. Rowe Harding won 17 caps for Wales. His club career included Gowerton School, Loughor, Cambridge University, Llanelli, Swansea, London Welsh and Barbarians. The jersey has White Jersey with faded blue hoops and red Cambridge University crest on breast. No number on back.
