Abstract
Argentina jersey of flanker Jorge Carracedo from the Argentinian rugby tour of Wales and England in 1976. Argentina played East Wales, Cardiff, Aberavon, North and Midlands (England), West Wales and a Wales XV on the tour. They lost the West Wales match 14 - 12 and the match against the Wales XV by 20 -19. Swansea's Barry Clegg, Geoff Wheel and Trevor Evans played in the Wales XV side against Carracedo. Trevor Evans, Phil Llewellyn, David Richards and Geoff Wheel played in the West Wales side. The Wales XV against the Argentines was an uncapped match for Wales. Jorge Carracedo played his club rugby at the San Isidro club in Argentina and won 19 caps for Argentina between 1971 and 1977.
