This is the Cambridge University RFC cap of Swansea and Wales captain Rowe Harding, who won four 'Blues' between 1924 and 1927, while playing for the University, only losing one match in 1924. He was already an international wing before going up to Cambridge and accumulated 17 Welsh caps between 1923 and 1928. A champion AAA sprinter, Rowe Harding also captained Swansea RFC in 1928-29 and won three caps on the British Isles tour to South Africa in 1924. He became a Circuit Court judge, was a long-serving member of the Swansea C&FC Committee and was a Life Patron of the club.
